104 FRONT ST

104 Front Street is located in the remaining portion of what was the Gates Mercantile building in downtown Lonoke, Arkansas.  After a fire in the 1970’s, the easternmost portion of the building remained and has been used variously in the last fifty years for retail and office functions.  In this project, the long-abandoned second floor will be renovated into a bright, fresh office tenant space and a new wood storefront recreated from historic photographs will be installed between the original iron columns.  The Owner is using state and federal historic tax credits in this project.
